Who is responsible

This site is an independent guide run by Candyai Shorts NSFW, the data controller for the little it collects. For any question about your data, write to bestnsfwshorts@gmail.com. We are not part of Candy.ai or of EverAI Limited, the company that operates it.

What we collect

Very little. There are no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no forms, and the site sets no cookies for visitors. Our web server keeps no access log for this site. It does keep an error log, and an entry there can include the IP address, the time and the address requested when a request fails. We use it only to fix problems and block abuse. The log is rotated daily and each file is deleted after 52 rotations, so no entry is older than 53 days.

What stays in your browser

Two small settings are saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and they are not sent to our server: your answer to the age check and your choice of light or dark mode. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. Fonts and images load from our own server, with no third-party scripts, analytics or advertising.

Links to Candy.ai

Buttons and links to Candy.ai carry our affiliate code, and we may earn a commission when a visitor subscribes. After the click you are on Candy.ai, where Candy.ai and its affiliate platform, FirstPromoter, can record the visit and set cookies. That part is covered by Candy.ai's privacy policy, not by this one.

Hosting

The site runs on a server rented from DigitalOcean in New York, United States, which processes the error log on our behalf. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that data is transferred to the United States under the safeguards in DigitalOcean's data processing terms. Our legal basis for the error log is our legitimate interest in running a secure site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy. Since our records are limited to the error log, include the IP address and the approximate time of your visit so we can find the entries. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Adults only

The site is meant for adults aged 18 or over and does not knowingly process data about minors.

Changes

If what we collect changes, for example if we add analytics, this page changes first and the date at the top moves.
