Verdict

Straightforward and well paced, with a triangle that gives the scenes some weight. It will not surprise viewers who know the teacher fantasy, and it is not trying to. The girlfriend keeps it from being a two-hander, and the scholarship adds a practical stake that most campus setups skip.
