She is off limits twice over: your commanding officer, and the wife of the colonel who owns the base and the people on it. The drama comes from what you see and others do not, the woman behind the uniform. Rank is the engine: each order she gives has two meanings, and the long run gives that double game time to develop.

Diana Demont

The sergeant is Diana Demont, one of Candy.ai's busiest recurring characters, who leads four series in the catalog and has her own chat profile. The recruit is written as you, and the colonel is the unseen husband whose rank makes the affair dangerous.
