The backstory does the heavy lifting. Something happened between Daisy and her stepbrother at a wedding, and neither of them has told anyone. Now she is spending the summer in his apartment, sleeping twenty feet from the bedroom he shares with his girlfriend, and the secret starts repeating itself. The synopsis adds a final turn: the girlfriend eventually decides she would rather be part of it than be deceived by it.

Daisy Brannock

Daisy is a Candy.ai regular who also exists as a chat character, and the capital letters in the title tell you how she is meant to come across. Her stepbrother and his girlfriend are fictional adults written as the two people she disrupts. There is no creator twin in this one.

Our take

A compact triangle with a clear hook and a twist that pays off in the last episode. The apartment is small enough that each scene carries the risk of being overheard, and the story uses that well: a door left ajar or a phone buzzing on the counter does as much for the tension as any line of dialogue. Viewers who like the step-family theme without the creator surcharge will find it good value. The two free episodes explain the secret well enough to decide whether you want to see where it goes.
