The divorce gives the sister a reason to be reckless, and the narrator's attempts at good behavior give the early episodes their tension. His girlfriend stays likable throughout, which makes each step over the line feel costly, and the sister's own motives are left open until late. It will not win prizes for originality, but the two-week clock and the girlfriend down the hall give the scenes an edge. At 12 tokens an episode it is an easy series to finish once the free pair has hooked you.
